How can community-led climate change adaptation strengthen resilience and risk-informed development?
This webinar will present key features of adaptation, including loss and damage, as tools to address vulnerability to climate change. It will discuss concrete examples and actions to enhance local community resilience.
The event will strengthen participants' capacities on climate change adaptation measures, taking into account the needs of communities most at risk, to improve field work. Participants will learn more about adaptation and mitigation measures under the UNFCCC convention and approaches to enhance local level community resilience.
This event is the first in a series of webinars being run over the next several months by The Global Network of Civil Society Organizations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR).
