Building on existing guidance from USAID's former Office of Food for Peace, this brief assesses prevailing practices, successes, challenges, lessons learned and recommendations around integrating conflict sensitivity into food security programs, highlighting the importance of participatory approaches that emphasize inclusion and empower aid recipients. This learning brief supports calls for greater coherence in humanitarian, development and peace programming.
