USAID ResilienceLinks Terms of Use

By using USAID ResilienceLinks, you accept and agree to be bound by the Terms of Use. The Terms of Use apply to USAID ResilienceLinks portal as accessed both through the web portal, mobiles, or other devices and may be updated from time to time. Before using the site please read the following terms of use agreement. 

About USAID ResilienceLinks

USAID ResilienceLinks is an online Knowledge Management (KM) platform for resilience practitioners to learn about current trends and advancements in Resilience programming worldwide. The portal will provide a platform for information sharing between youth, and with external stakeholders, including governmental and non-governmental institutions, the private sector, civil society, media outlets, activists, and community leaders. 

The platform will supports USAID’s Center for Resilience by providing a central and curated place for USAID and its partners to interact with a wide range of information and knowledge products (studies, case studies online trainings, evaluations) on resilience generated by USAID and partners, in the field and at DC level through several mechanisms and partnerships.

Who can use USAID ResilienceLinks?

The use of this platform is not limited, anyone with access to this system may use the information found within.

What can you share on USAID ResilienceLinks? 

USAID ResilienceLinks does not allow for direct contribution to the website via the creation of user accounts. If you would like to share a resource you would like to have added to the platform, please send an email to resilience@usaid.gov. Please include your work email address, title and brief description of the resource, and a link to the resource if it lives on a website. You may only send PDF files to the email listed above, no other file types will be accepted.

Permissions You Give USAID ResilienceLinks

When sharing content to be posted to the platform, you are giving USAID ResilienceLinks the permission to host, use, distribute, reproduce, and adapt the content. The content you contribute will continue to be viewable on the portal and associated with your name until you request otherwise.

Information Collected and Stored Automatically

When you visit ResilienceLinks, we may store some or all of the following:

  • The IP address from which you accessed our site
  • The date and time
  • The URL of the website from which you linked to our site
  • The name of the file or words you searched for
  • The pages you visited on our site
  • The items clicked on a page
  • The browser and operating system used

We do not collect or track any personal information through these processes. We use this information, in the aggregate, to make our website more useful to visitors— to learn about the number of visitors to our site and the types of technology used, to detect operational problems, and to improve the website's overall security.

Disclaimer and Liability 

This Agreement sets forth the general terms and conditions of your use of the platform and any of its products or services. 

USAID ResilienceLinks may contain links or references to other websites or applications maintained by third parties over whom USAID ResilienceLinks has no control. The portal administration is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites or applications. Inclusion of any third-party link does not imply an endorsement or recommendation by USAID ResilienceLinks. USAID ResilienceLinks and USAID shall not be responsible or liable for the content of the portal and its components provided by members unless published by the Administrators of the portal.

Changes

USAID ResilienceLinks reserves the right to change these conditions from time to time as it sees fit and your continued use of the portal will signify your acceptance of any adjustment to these terms.

Acceptance of these terms

By using the USAID ResilienceLinks platform or its services you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the terms of this Agreement, you are not authorized to use or access the portal and its services.
